Volunteer Tools for Senior Centers

Plan the rides and visits. Fill the shifts. Know who showed up.

Set out rides, visits, yard help and classes, let volunteers take a shift in seconds, and keep the record.

A senior center is a place where people give as much as they get. Members teach classes, drive, visit and lead. This page is for the staff and volunteers who keep those offerings going and want to share the load.

What you run, and how the site helps

Rides to appointments and events

Matching a driver to a time is a shift. Write it down and fill it.

How the site helps: Offer each ride time as a shift, and volunteer drivers sign up for the one that works for them, with reminders.

Friendly visits and phone calls

Regular visits work best when a few people share them.

How the site helps: Spread visits and calls across several people by giving each one a shift on a shared schedule.

Yard help and seasonal jobs

Raking, snow and small repairs go faster with a crew and a plan.

How the site helps: Post a yard job as a need so a neighbor or an organization can pick it up, or plan a seasonal crew into shifts.

Classes and groups

Keep track of who helps teach, host and set up each class.

How the site helps: Keep a roster of who helps with each class, along with attendance.
