Acceptable Use

Neighbor Powered exists to help communities plan and complete real, safe, useful work together. That means the platform is not for:

• Anything illegal, fraudulent, or that misrepresents who you are or what organization you represent.
• Discrimination against anyone based on race, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, or any other legally protected status.
• Projects, tasks, or recruitment outside the scope of legitimate, supervised community work — this isn't a general job board or a way to solicit unrelated services.
• Attempting to bypass an organization's verification, safety requirements, or insurance obligations.
• Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior toward other members, organizers, or volunteers, including in community posts and private messages.
• Collecting or reusing another member's contact information for purposes unrelated to a project they signed up for.
• Uploading content that is obscene, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights.

Reporting a problem

If you see something that violates this policy — on a project, in the community board, or in a message — use the in-platform report option where available, or email crousebr@waldenwoods.com directly. Every report is reviewed quickly by our safety team, which uses automated review with human oversight. Reports about safety — threats, harassment, sexual content, or anyone who may be under 18 — always go to a person on our team.

Not a member? If an intimate image of you, or of someone you act for, was shared here without consent, use the removal request form — no account needed.

What happens after a report

We review reported content and accounts and take action proportionate to what happened — anything from a warning to suspending posting privileges to closing an account, depending on severity and whether it's a repeat issue. If you disagree with a decision about your own post, comment, message or account, you can ask for a second look from your Safety page. It gets a fresh review, separate from the first decision, and you can ask for a person on our team to decide.
